This day trip will bring you to rural Bali, where you’ll learn more about the local agricultural traditions.
At the Subak Museum in Tabanan you’ll see how the centuries-old irrigation system functions.
You then visit a Balinese family in their house and witness their daily activities.
Afterwards a visit to a local school (not on weekends or holidays) and the plowing of the rice fields, with extra explanation about local plants and spices as cocoa, cloves, pepper, vanilla and coffee.
To top off your day you’ll enjoy a Balinese lunch containing many of the ingredients you’ve just seen harvested.
