Day 01
Arrival – Makassar
Upon arrival at Hasanuddin Airport in Makassar, meeting services. Afterwards, transfer directly to hotel with short city tour, visiting Fort Rotterdam the old Dutch fortress and Paotere Anchorage the Makassarese and Bugisnese boat harbor. Overnight at hotel
Day 02
Makassar – Maros Karst Tower – Sengkang (B, S)
After breakfast, our guide will pick up at 07.30am and you will escape from the hustle and bustle Makassar city, with an hour driving to Rammang-Rammang Village. The genuine smile of local people will greet you when you arrived at a small jetty. Soon you will feel the cool breeze, when you jump into the traditional canoe and paddling through the Puteh River that surrounded by Karst Tower limestone cliffs and Nypa fruticans. After half an hour paddling, you will enjoy soft trekking, visiting Telapak Tangan cave, a small cave with some prehistoric drawings inside. Another soft trekking around Berua Village and witness the local people life. During a break in a local house, you will served with fried Banana and tea or coffee. After the break, paddle out of the village and enjoyed other soft trekking among Karst Tower or Limestone Park. Lunch en-route (excluded). Afterwards continue to Sengkang and you will arrive late afternoon or evening in Sengkang. overnight at hotel in Sengkang
Day 03
Sengkang – Toraja (B)
After breakfast, visit the Lake Tempe. We will take you across the lake by motorized canoe and visit the fishermen families living on the floating villages. After that visit a traditional silk factory, where you can see the traditional spinning and weaving of silk material by Bugisnesse women and take a time to go to hill, where you can see Sengkang city from the top. Afterwards transfer Toraja via Siwa and Palopo, passing through spectacular view along the road to Toraja. Lunch en route (excluded). In the afternoon arrive in Rantepao. Overnight at hotel in Toraja
NOTE: The water elevation in Lake Tempe will be low during the dry season. Not recommended to crossing the lake.
Day 04
Toraja : Lemo, Kambira, Tampang Allo, Suaya, Kete Kesu (B)
After breakfast, full day exploring Toraja. Lemo to see rows of Tau Tau statues and the hanging graves. Then continue to discover the secrets of baby trees in Kambira, Tampang Allo, to see natural cave, Onwards to Suaya to See Royal Tombs (Kings Tombs) in Sangalla village. Afterward soft trekking from karuaya to Randang Batu (La’bo). At Kete Kesu, one of the oldest Torajan villages you can see Tongkonan (the traditional ancestral house, or Rumah Adat of the Torajan people), and also the old traditional rice barns with colorful woodcarving. Lunch en route (excluded). Overnight at hotel
Day 05
Toraja : Batu Tumonga, Soft Trekking, Bori, Londa (B)
After breakfast, we will bring you out for a full day trip to Batutumonga, enjoying superb views of Rantepao and the surrounding valleys from Batutumonga downhill to Pana. You will also enjoy a walk along the rice fields where you can see the daily life of Torajan people. visit Bori to see megalith stone and After visiting Londa to see ancient tombs in which the deceased was not buried. Lunch en-route (excluded). In the late afternoon back to hotel for overnight
Day 06
Toraja – Bambapuang – Makassar (B)
After breakfast, transfer back to Makassar via Enrekang and you will stop by in Puncak Lakawan to enjoy the spectacular view. Lunch in Pare-Pare (excluded). Afterwards transfer directly to Hotel for overnight
Day 07
Makassar – Airport (B)
After breakfast, transfer directly to Hasanuddin International Airport for your next destination.
